Teller Appreciation

Recognize Their Efforts


Teller Appreciation Week
was the first week in October this year. As the developer of the nation’s leading Teller Training Programs, TellerSolution®, BankTrainingOnline®, and CreditUnionTrainingOnline™, we’re proud of the contribution tellers make to banking and would like to help you recognize their efforts.

Please remember to honor your Tellers during Teller Appreciation Week. You can do so by presenting them with a Stellar Teller™ award. This is a great way to let them know how much you appreciate all they do as they represent your financial institution, answer questions, make sure that everyone receives a special welcome, and handle transactions accurately and efficiently!

In the meantime, plan something special for your Tellers. They are a valuable asset, and they should be appreciated. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Teller Florist
Flowers always show appreciation. Have an arrangement delivered to all the branches with a note to the tellers from the appropriate manager or have a single flower or bud vase delivered to the branch, and distributed to each teller.

Phone-A-Teller
Have key officers phone tellers each day until every teller has received a phone call. A sincere and personal thank you will be greatly appreciated.

Cookies in the Branch
Allow your customers to share in the recognition of your tellers. Serve cookies in the branch. Include small thank you cards (business card sized) with a space for your customer’s signature. Invite your customers to give a card to their favorite teller. At the end of the day, the teller with the most Thank Yous from the customer wins a prize.
